Criminalizing Homelessness

An exploration of LAPD’s arrest data, honing in on arrests related to what is known as the “sit-lie-sleep” law, and related charges that implicitly criminalize homelessness. I also map hotspots of homelessness and examine the demographics of the arrestees.
